Full Moon - Moon in Taurus

Date: November 19, 2021
Time: 8:00pm (75 minutes)

Moon in Taurus: Our safety depends on the need for stability, which is not easy to satiate during this moon phase. Practice learning to accept change as a constant and familiar part of our lives. The work is to learn to trust and love yourself in order to ensure that you do not mistakenly seek it in things outside of yourself, material things. When you learn to accept (ahimsa) yourself for who you are, it will become easier for you to feel inner peace and also experience peace and tranquility in the outside world.

The Beaver Moon is a nickname given to the full moon that takes place each November, and it’s named for the fact that this time of year is traditionally when beavers seek shelter for the colder months looming ahead. This lunation was also historically known as the Frost Moon or Freezing Moon, which alludes to the shorter days and chillier temperatures that take hold at this point in the autumn.

The November 2021 full moon eclipse is taking place in the sensual sign of Taurus, so the spiritual meaning of the Beaver Moon is centered around aligning with our values and finding security amidst the cosmic chaos

We will journal, set intentions, and move our energy by exploring the Moon Salutation.  Unlike sun salutations, which are heating and stimulating, Moon Salutations are cooling and quieting. It calms the mind, inviting you to wander inward.

Plan on an intuitive and fun yoga flow.
