Participation
Participation in the Space Ambassadorship will involve two monthly posts to personal social media accounts, including a picture/video taken at The Space, tagging @thespacevisalia and other instructors or members that agree, and specific Space hashtags. Ambassadors will also be expected to interact with The Space brand regularly on their Instagram account, including liking, commenting, and sharing posts. Other ambassadorship program events may include:
● Monthly student meetups and socials outside of the yoga studio
● Ambassador meetups (yoga class, walk, coffee, etc.)
● Instagram takeover
● Posting flyers/stickers to community event boards
● Other volunteering opportunities in the Central Valley Community

Do I have to be active on all forms of social media to be a Space Ambassador? No, the Space Ambassadorship will primarily function through Instagram.
How much of a time commitment is the ambassadorship? Commitment includes regular attendance at The Space yoga classes, monthly meetups, two social media posts monthly, and weekly engagement with The Space content. Engagement can mean sharing, liking, and/or commenting on posts and stories.
How do I know which content to share? The Ambassador Manager will share examples with you before you begin your ambassadorship. They will also update you at the beginning of each month with upcoming Space events and opportunities.
What kind of content should I create? You became a Space Ambassador because you are passionate about The Space and its community. You can share about your experience, the classes you enjoy, the things you’re learning, etc. Pick a topic that resonates with you, and feel free to be creative with your posts. We just ask that you tag The Space and use applicable hashtags.
Is there a specific etiquette that Space Ambassadors should follow? Yes! As an ambassador, we ask that you follow some basic etiquette on social media, in the studio, and the community. You are encouraged to create positive posts that display enthusiasm for The Space and its community. Please be polite, respectful, and engaging with those you interact with in the studio and on social media.
Unfortunately, negative comments occasionally arise on social media. In this instance, you may alert the Ambassador Manager, and we will discuss the next steps.
